oh thanksgiving

well thanksgiving away from home.... it was sad not to be home... but over all it was a good day! I made a banana cream pie...to keep a little tradition going.. i always make it... and i tried to make grandmas cheesecake... the banana was a hit at cjs house... i was ashamed to bring the cheesecake to sam's sisters... it just didnt look like grandmas... so i left it in the fridge!!! haha! so i played a little basketball... i feel like i made the game winning 3 point shot... legit!~! i also played some soccer at cjs house... they are gamers... and it was way nice outside too.... and kickball actually... anyways... totally made the game winning goal in soccer... break away to the goal... it was a great shot! goallllllllllllllllll!!! anyways... now it is christmas.... need to get some gifts for my peeps... decorate... finish this semester!!!!!! thats all...

work... well this morning i had to open.... made 15 bucks... in three hours... that sucked!! everyone is shopping.... they dont have money for food!!! i have to go back at 3... so lets hope some people will show up!!! o how i love getting paid 2 bucks an hour..... i am so rich!!!!

celebrities... whats the big deal?

So in my class i need to blog it up ... i was like sweet! the question asked is how has the mass media developed the concept of "celebrity"? this is how i feel about celebrities... they are just normal people that get paid way too much to entertain us... yes i do get caught up in the mix of it all... with tv shows and movies.. and what is the latest trends. but in reality the media puts all this pressure to dig into their lives for our entertainment, which i find sad, but that is the difference between them and us. i have a great life and go about my everyday with no worries about people trying to take pictures of me and find out what the latest drama in my life is about... but the media doesnt care about the fact that they want to be alone and run errands, we make life difficult for them. celebrities have to deal with keeping their life to themself, they cant go to the store or mall without fans following or pictures all up in their face.... annoying, but that is what the media does to these people... they ruin their lives, but that is also what they get when they sign up for their jobs. It is also interesting to see how the media has effected the people in the past... great example, Britney.. oh britney, we the fans of the world saw her start off as this innocent little girl... into this scandelous crazy lady trying to get back in the "hip" ways of life.... but the media surrounded her... articles, tv, and ruined her life... think of all the celebrity marriage shows on tv... most of them end it in divorce. when they just want the "normal" life with just a sweet job, the best of both worlds. I believe the media ruins people, with body image, what is cool, and whos life sucks the most in the celebrity world... another example... jennifer and Brad... the cutest couple.. they were in love.. the media got involved and changed them.. instead of an easy quite divorce, it was all over all the mags, blogs, internet, and tv.... imaging if that was you....the worst thing in your life is known to the world, and we eat that up!!! let the celebrity people free from the media??? that will never happen... money money money is all people want... they dont care about feelings and their space... we pop their personal bubble and dig into everything that we can get our hands on. i feel bad... but the media changes people... end of story.

yup, it is that time of year again folks!!! CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!!! on the radio... all day everyday till christmas!!

so cj over the summer got tickets for so you think you can dance... and he forgot, i forgot, and on tuesday he got an email reminding him that he bought tickets... so he then remembers i have work and tells me... i am then on a mission to get work covered... i think i asked everyone twice at work... no one could cover, rude right??? on saturday i was just about to embrace that i was going to be working and miss the show, and sorry cj... i dont know what to tell you, i've asked everyon and their mom... no one is nice!! haha. one of my nice managers... jud, i told him about it on friday and he was like i will see what i can do... 9am meeting on saturday he asked me if i got anyone to cover... i said no... sucky!! he told me to ask the other nice manager jesse and tell him i spent money, no one can work, i have tried everything... long story short!!! jesse said i could go to the concert and that they would be fine..... whoop whoop!!! so i went to the concert.... and dragged cj along.. i think he was almost excited that i had work and couldnt get it off... haha so we went... it reminded me of how much i loved that show and that i should be watching this season, but i never watch tv... poor cj... at times i looked over... hahah 98% of the people there were girls... all who loved the show!! anyways, i love it!!

dont worry about the pic below... i tried to be cute for once in my life... and i curled my hair because i was bored then went over to cj's.... as soon as i got there he was playing this basketball game with his brother and nephews... and i actually was "wanted" to be on a team.. haha!! i feel at times they just feel bad and put me on a team, but this time they were excited i was there... it was a moment.. anyway... playing basketball outside, i sweat... like usual, and my hair doesnt stay curled... it got flat, ugly, but hey i tried... and i beat cjs team in basketball so it was worth it!! haha

we went the the 1st home game against the clippers.... we ate papa johns pizza... and had a oreo, strawberry, and sprinkles milk shake... so healthy!! hahaha

so when people are complaining to you.... or something happens when you didnt plan it to go that way... my new thing that i say is BIG WHOOP!!! for example....
person: "man i dont want to go to work today."
me: BIG WHOOP....

hahah it is the funniest thing to say.... it is like a SLAM in their face... you should try it!!!

Also...i think i am becoming lame... it is halloween... i went to the library in the morning, then i went to work... made a huge $20 bucks!!!! then i came home to an empty house... got dressed up in 80s... because it is halloween... you need to dress up!! then.... ended up doing nothing......
