Has this ever happened to you? Somebody says something to you that immediately triggers negativity within you. You don't have a clue why you are so upset and you wonder just where that feeling came from.

Tony Robbins would call this a "negative anchor" -- something that is said or something that is experienced that you associate with a previous negative event. Peter Levine refers to this as trauma being held in the body. Whatever you want to call it, the event and feelings surrounding the event rear their ugly heads again and again until you are able to heal the original situation.
It's very important to differentiate what happened in the past from what's happening now. Ultimately, you will want to work on forgiving that person and honoring how that experience created who you are today. Only after you are able to release the past, can you experience the emotional freedom that we all desire.

my BEST friend Brittany

i just want to tell you all about my best friend brittany... she is always there for me no matter what!! we go way back... sixth grade we met... i was the chubby band girl... haha... you can all agree if you saw the picture. brit on the other hand was the awkward skinny girl, kinda like bambie if that makes sense, haha, with hair like a horse! this all sounds harsh, but it is funny if you saw us together... be became best friends!! just the two of us... loners haha (my sista)! we did whatever we wanted!! haha! over the years while she is in california and i am in utah... i miss her a lot! I can always depend on her, and this is why she is my BEST friend! everyone has friends... but the one who always pulls through and is always there for you is your best. when i am having the WORST day, she always makes my day better! i know this is all very cheesy... but she deserves a shout out. i have been feeling pretty low lately.... and i can always count on her!! thanks brit!!!

well, i went... and i came back

so i went to california on wed. flew... on the flight i sat next to my freshman boyfriend mike! the boy i thought wanted to marry me after a month my freshman year, so i broke up with him!! he is the only boy who hasnt got married right after me haha!! when my mother picked me up we went an hour in the wrong direction... o sweet mother!! she is where i get the worst sense of direction. thanks mother! i went to training... boring!!! watched the nugget... she is so cute! got a root canal... and went to the beach... really productive weekend, but not really weekend, end of the week.

so yesterday was not the best sunday.... that is all i am going to say, if you have questions, just ask!!

today is the day!!!

so i walk into my wonderful white trash job today and the girl two desks down, named paige, says
PAIGE: "keri you still selling your apartment?"

ME: "YES!!!"

PAIGE: "i want it, i am serious, i will buy your contract. can i come look on wed?"

ME: "yes, you can come. you can move in next week!!!!"

it is ment to be, we are selling this place!!! now what.....i am not sure... but i dont have to pay rent all summer!!!!!!! yipiee!!!!

BRITNEY IS BACK

ok so today... i went to my class and for some reason my teacher was like... you wanted to go to britney spears??? i was like... sure i do!! when i havent even thought about going... long story short, she gave me permission to go look up tickets on craigslist, and if i found some i could leave class... so that is exactly what i did. i called this lady that had two tickets for 80 bucks.... i left class to meet her in the albertsons parking lot. on the way i was calling richelle, becca, and lisa for days... finally becca called back and said she was in... another long story...i was in the parking lot and i made these people wait like 15 minutes... finally i decided no on the tickets so that no one would be left out... i went to my group meeting and was ok... not a big deal.. no britney.

then after the meeting i went to the library and i was going to do homework, and get things done because school is almost over.... (keep in mind the concert would have started at 8) at 7:45 becca called me and said come outside we are going to the concert... i didnt even thing twicel. haha!! we picked up lisa off the freeway and we went... 4 girls, no tickets, we just wanted britney. on the way up i was on richelles iphone (this is one cool thing about this trendy phone HAHA) i was on craigslist and the 1st post was 4 tickets for 150 each... it was not 8:15... so i called the number asking for a guy named taylor...
keri: taylor... do you still have the tickets?

taylor: yes i do

keri: great!! how much are you selling them for since the concert has already started??

taylor: $100 each

keri: ummm that is too much.... (then in the back ground lisa said we will do $50) we will do $5o a ticket....

taylor: uhhh but they are worth more... i dont think so

keri: it is either that.... or you are out of all that money... that would suck

taylor: fine i will do that... meet me at the gateway!!


haha the funniest thing ever!!! we met him at the gateway... pulled out money... paid the guy. i felt like i was doing a drug deal!! ran in the rain to the concert... pen still in my hair from the library. i have been at school all day, and not even ready.. haha!! we get to our seats 29th row... people around us paid $150 for the tickets... haha! i love it!! 5 minutes later britney was on the stage!! i freaking love her!! it was the best night ever!! way better than being at the library!!

ok so i have to pay for school and everything.... so what if i just stay here during the summer... take like 12 credits... and then i can be done next december???

then i would just live here and work.... and go to school. i wouldnt have to worry about selling my place??

o little bit of good news... just a little

so i talked to my lady about summer... i had to run down 4 teachers and get permission to take the class in the fall... and it worked!!! so i dont have to take summer school!

bad news: i dont have a job in california.... so it is like i stay here for the summer? i still havent sold my contract... and i just found out yesterday that if i am moving out i need to be out april 23rd... i have school that day and i still have finals next week.. where do i live? haha...idots!!!

i lost my camera... i swear it is in my friends car i am going to go search it today....i cry about this one... i swear everything is going wrong....

o ya... i am at my white trash job right now and i am going crazy... i finished my book so i am stuck her drawing things on paper... i drink as much water as possible so that i have to get up and go to the bathroom as much as i can!! haha pathetic... it kills some time~!!

sorry to everyone that didnt get a 10 reasons why.... i got lazy and i stopped... i love you all though... no hard feeling!! but maybe i will continue it later on when i am not so stressed.

stressed.... yes i am stressed! at first i was just stressed about selling my contract here so that i can go home for the summer and get out of provo!! i need to get out of here and take a break. i also was going to go home for the summer to work and save money for next year...

problem#1: so last year i never sold my summer contract and it sucked!! everyone is trying to sell theirs.... it sucks. finally a girl said that she wanted it but would pay 215 a month... it is 295... so i am willing to discount it. yesterday she called and she was ready to sign up... i mentioned the deposite of 300... she would basically get it all back. she was like what??? i have texted her... no response... so there goes my sale??

problem#2: stupid ymca.... they hired me to be a unit leader for the summer. they have two training days which and you have to go to one of them... i am a student in utah... and the date they had was april 23rd... for reals? that is a thrusday and i am in school. basically all unit leaders need to be 21 so they are in school, how do they think that we can make it? i thought that the ymca was for a good and promoted education??? i guess not because i called joe and told him my situation... and he was like... well i am sorry! i am like i am sorry too because i cant work there... so there goes that too...

problem#3: job...where do i work???

problem#4: yesterday i also went to talk to my councelor about my classes that i need to register for and when i will be done. i was registered for a class this semester but it was cancelled... it was an online class. come to find out... that cancelled class is a class that i need to have taken so that i can take this other class that is only offered in the fall... how convienient??? so she was like you need to stay and take the class over summer school... the second session (june 24-aug) they dont have in online... so you have to take it... i was like i was not planning to be here the summer.... blah blah blah... stress because i would have to pay for summer school and funds are limited!! so i am going in today and i am going to tell her that she needs to override that and let me take that class at the same time in the fall.... so everyone pray that it will work because i want to go home

problem#5: if i stay in utah where would i work? i need a legit job where i can work and make money and also save at the same time... in provo that sucks!! there are no jobs!! WHAT DO I DO???
