the addiction

When did my addiction start? I always try to go back in time and see when the first crack open of the can started…. It is hard. I feel I remember my mom always with a 44oz. on lock growing up. We never had it at the house… and in high school I was way to healthy to drink of such poison… now, I can’t seem to put it down. (Ok, so that is a little dramatic, but it is funny.. I am not that crazy) It wasn’t my freshman year of college because we didn’t have a car and I never walked home with a 24 pack… I think I would remember that, because it was quite the walk. Since we didn’t have a car… we never went to the gas station to get a 44oz, so I think that year is poison free. That brings me to my 2^nd year in Provo… we did have cars. I don’t know why that year was such a blur to me… I think every now and then… or on a drive home to CA I had a 44oz. Still, I never purchased that 12 or 24 pack and had them in the fridge at all times, this I am still pretty sure. The only true time I can recall the NEED to have a can or 44oz was my 3^rd year… when I lived the girl I believe to start my craving and need for it in my blood stream…. DIET COKE!

Mallory (Minster) Moore is the girl who turned me south. Ahha… I love her to death! I am pretty sure every one in the picture below was also affected by Mallory’s diet coke obsession… all of us here… need a diet coke!

That is right.. we have all lived with her… and heard her crack open that can at 7am, right before she would go for a run, any hour of the day.. she had a can. SHE is the bride in this picture. I am not mad about my addiction, I just have always wanted to know when I had my first sip… and I am not even sure this is when it all started. I just feel it is most accurate. This is when I would start buying the 24 packs and having them in the fridge.. I even bought a mug. You know those white trash ones that you buy at the gas station? The ones you keep bringing in that are insulated? Yup, I had one, I wasn’t even ashamed. I even bought one for my dear friend Amberlina and we bedazzled them… and invested like $20 of jewlels to glue on the mug, so it was a fashion statement! Haha!

Today, I still have the fridge packed deep with diet cokes. My family also has this addiction too.. they have a can crusher installed in the cupboard!! Haha!!

This is the issue… there are days I get headaches when I don’t have a DC in my life… but there are also days I drink it because I feel I need to, when I am not even enjoying it like I should. Ok, so I am sounding a little crazy… but this is real life people!! I think of days that I should stop drinking DC, but then there are days where I am like NO WAY… I rep DC all day.. I mean I was put up on the big screen in NYC.

That right there is a sign I should continue the cause to drink! Haha. Seriously… I know it isnt the healthiest… and I need to work on that category in my life. This is my confession… my addiction.. and the cause of when it all started! I want to thank my friends for not judging me… because I know they all crave it and have it daily. We stick together! Some day… I feel I might attempt to take a break, but until then, a can a day keeps my headaches away!!

this weekend cj and i watched little shorty for Toni and Aaron. earlier that day i checked the mail and i had the best letter from my friend Britt Fish, here is her blog. it made my day!!

the cj bonding with shorty!! we did learn that a dog is a little work... we enjoy sleeping in (too much i think) and when you have this little shorty with you.. she loves beating her tail of the floor, jumping up on the side of the bed, and taking potty breaks outside. over all i think we did a great job... she never went to the bathroom inside. that was the over all goal we accomplished. some day though... i am going to get a puppy and name it cheeto...

dont you just love cheeto already?? i am so excited in a couple years to get her!!

on Saturday.. the weather was super dreamy. it felt like summer. so cj and i went to the beach!

we had a picnic, a book to read (cj studied), and paddle ball.

my camera died.. so we took some great shots with cj's phone. that night, we went on a triple date with some new FRIENDS in the ward. that is right people, FRIENDS... we are working on them!! it was fun. we went to dinner and played games.

Sunday, we went to church, came home made lunch, and took a nice Sunday nap.

i am getting sick... so i am going to drink water and sleep because i need to be 100% for this weekend all the miller girls are having a girls weekend in SAN FRANCISCO!

maybe this time i can actually see the bridge!! well i am off to take a nap.. i need to get better!! have a happy week!!

so, as you all know, i have a lot of free time on my hands. today i came across some old pictures of the cj.. and he is so ADORABLE, i love it!! cheesy, yes i know, but i do what i need to do. he looks so young... right after this europe trip is when i first met the kid.. and he had a sweet european mullet...such a charmer!!

yesterday was my first attempt at working out. I went to the beach so that I could enjoy the painful run with the distraction of the ocean. Here was my view:

since 2012... we have ate out about 95% of our meals out. we are on a healthy track record!! i have worked out zero times.. and i am happy!! haha

today, saturday, was a beach day. not a hot lay out beach day, but a paddle ball, read a book, picnic, and hang out kind of day!! it was nice!! no one was there.. and we got a little sweaty playing games!!

we moved our picnic to the ledge so we could have a pillow... cj's idea... it worked out real nice!!

then we came home and went to the hot tub!! i love saturdays. all of the family parties are over and we are back to reality!!

next stop, find a job!!

happy one year to my sister toni!! we went over to her house and watched her wedding video with her. haha... since her husband is in china, we keep her company and go to dinner with her! tomorrow we are cooking dinner to celebrate her year of marriage!!! it will be romantic!! haha

i know it is late, but i really wanted to do a recap of the year 2011. it was a great year, we did a lot of things!

January: i make cj take pictures!!

February: we went to Vegas. i had fake lashes... and i miss them!!

March: mustache... enough said.

April: going to the slc real soccer game!

May: it was finally warm enough to ride our bikes to the park for a picnic!! (i miss slc)

June: red iguana.

July: our 1 year anniversary... we are watching the fireworks from the park!

August: a hike up ensign peak!

September: East coast trip!!! so much fun!!

October: we dressed up!

November: we moved to ca!! CJ got a new job.. and we are on a new adventure!

December: we went to CHICAGO!!

it was a packed year! we love being married!

2012 is going to be fun!! let the journey begin!

christmas break!

christmas break (well i am always on a break with no job) was great!! this year we spent christmas here in CA. cj was able to see all the madness!! after christmas my whole family went out to palm springs.. so the boys could go golfing and the girls could get some sun! it wast toasty!! i love getting tan lines in december and cj always loves golf!! so here is a recap of our break:

the whole fam bam... excepts mom and pops! right after this we went back down the mountain and laid out by the pool. best of both worlds.

that week... the boys pretty much got up at the crack of dawn everyday.. and we (the girls and kids) all laid by the pool. i love basking in the sun!! we played tennis, went to movies, ate, played games... it was a fun week!

my parents took us all out to dinner on friday, with no kids.. we went to babe's bbq.. delish

toni was really happy about it!!

everyone left on saturday back to vista... cj and i stayed through out the rest of the weekend.. and new years (cj was sleeping when the clock hit 12). we just played tennis, pool, and ate food. cj needed some r&r so that he could jump back into work and studying again! it was a wonderful week, thanks pops!!

since our trip to the east coast.... i have noticed that cj and i talk in accents about 75% of our real life. we both pretend like we have a boston accent... sometimes other countries. i thought it was pretty funny and i am not even mad about it!

yup, we are pretty weird... but that is why i like us!!

the windy cold city!

i got on a plane and went to meet my husband in the windy city. even though i check the weather every five minutes... i still packed like it would be a blizzard. i got off the plane and cj laughed.. i was wearing two sweaters and a coat with these big snow boots... haha!! by the time we got to our hotel... i took two jackets off because i was sweating.. and i kept tripping on everything with my big boots! (hey, it was my first time to this city... everyone kept warning me about the cold!)

after i took layers off.. we went and ate some famous chicago pizza... DEEP DISH!

yes, it was delish.. but what i liked even more... was the calamari... i couldn't get enough. i just wanted to know when we would get it again (a little beasty, but seriously, it was AMAZING)

after dinner... we were on a mission, i needed shoes, these boots were not made for walking... and walking is what i did!! so i found some at this store called filene's basement (it is a nordstrom rack on crack) they were $30... originally $65! the whole store was 50-60% off... we had to come back the next day because the store was closing... YES... we came back!!

anyways, the next day... i was flying solo in this big city. cj had training until 5pm. the magnificent mile of shopping... so i was in good shape. plus, with my new walking shoes.. i was ready to walk this city up and down... and i did. i walked.. and walked... and walked!

solo shot... at the bean. i was so excited to see this "bean thing" everyone talked about. when i was walking around... i found it!! i was pretty excited... but i was all alone...it isn't as fun when you are alone! FINALLY....5:00pm CJ is off work!! we went to the basement... cj got three really nice work suits and work shoes... and we saved!!

have you ever saved that much???? he is going to look so good at work now!!

we looked at the clock.. and the night was still young... so we sprinted down to the art institute of Chicago.. we had an hour before it closed. we saw all the hits!!

after, we went to UNOS PIZZA... because pizza is our favorite and we love some deep dish.

dessert. enough said.

we wrote on the wall.. because we could!! i was still pretty nervous about it.. so i did it really fast... ugly... but we are officially on the wall now!

Next day... FRIDAY!!! i walked around some more.. i mean there is a mile of shops.. so i did that.. cj got off at like 2:30. our day of adventures started then!

we went inside and found this winter wonderland... and it was all decked out with Christmas lights.. and trees!!

saw a beautiful sunset from on top.. and saw the nigh lights light up the city.

that night we went to some italian place for dinner.. and ordered come calamari.. to see if it compared to the first night...

not even close. still good though... we were pretty chilly outside after dinner.. so we went and saw the new sherlock holmes movie..GOOD MOVIE! (not as good as the first, but that is how all movies are, but still good) it was warm inside... it felt nice!

Saturday... we slept in and woke up to snow on the ground... not a lot, but still SNOW. i was determinded to go eat at this place called panozzo's. i saw it on the food network channel on the flight to chicago (that was a sign), so we got our walk on.. and walked to panozzo's! it was totally worth it. cj was glad i forced him to it!

we went to the bean....way more fun together!

you can see the snow on the bean... i just love this bean! we went to go see the new mission impossible movie at the IMAX theater at the navy pier.. but it was sold out.

so we went to another movie... and it sucked... but it was warm and we had good treats.

yes, it was just as good as i remembered... i pretty much ate it all... cj can agree to this!!

cj loved chicago! he was motivated to go to the chicago booth school there.. it was a block away from the fidelity building. so who knows... maybe one day we will live in this windy city... i need to start mentally preparing for the cold winters now. i did love it too! i love trips with my CJ!

finally, the last day, CJ's BIRTHDAY!!!! we woke up and ate breakfast at this place called wildberry.. yum yum!! i got some berry pancakes...and cj got the classic meal of eggs, hash, sausage, with a side of french toast....i would go back and eat there again! cj was a hero.. and helped this homeless man... he fell out of his wheelchair.. long story.. the police and everyone came.. and i dont know what happened after that.. but my husband was the first one to help!! (that is why i love him) we packed up... and went on the L train to the airport. is only cost $2.25 to take the train compared to like $50 if you took a taxi... anyways.. i got me a chicago dog at the airport to make my trip complete.. and it was good!!

this morning i dropped cj off at the airport... he is in the air as we speak and on his way to CHICAGO! i will be joining him on Wednesday!! I have never been before.. so i am excited to see this new city! CJ has a work training all week... so i am going to be brave and explore this cold city during the day! (wish me luck) I am nervous... i tend to have a bad sense of direction.. so maybe i can prove this to myself... haha!! pictures and adventures to come!!

i feel grown up.. i put up my first nativity set!!

i feel all grown ups have a nice one up during this holiday season.... this is mine!!

yes, our tree has been up for three weeks now.. i feel really good about that!!

life update in the rhineer household... i still am unemployed... i need one of those jobs. cj is doing really well at work. he is studying for the 2nd cfa test that is coming up in june. we play tennis about three times a week because the weather has been perfect! we are going to CHICAGO in like two weeks!! cj has a training out there for work.. and he decided to fly me out there to meet him!! i will be there the 13-18th!! i am so excited, i have never been there!!

WE ARE STILL TRYING TO RENT OUR PLACE IN SLC.... it breaks my heart because it is so cute and is in the perfect location.. what is everyone's deal?? our property management told us two weeks ago they found renters....FALSE!! they never turned in any paperwork... and they were going to move in TODAY!! so if you know of ANYONE that is moving to slc and wants a cute place to rent... CALL ME!!!

other than that... LIFE IS GOOD!!!

last week i went home for thanksgiving break and it was the BEST!! everyone was home and all the kids!! sad part, my poor mama broke her ankle... so she could sit and watch... when i know she wanted to get up and move.

plus, my mom usually cooks the turkey and the feast on turkey day... man down!!!! so we stepped in... it made me hope that i will always have a house to go to on thanksgiving.. because that was A LOT of WORK!! Samantha (captain of the cooking team), Tera, and i made thanksgiving happen... and is was delish!

we played volleyball almost every night we were there... and we were all so sore.. it was pretty funny. each night we would have to just push through the soreness to play a great game... i think our family is pretty good. (we have improved a ton this week... brittany remillard!!)

the boys went golfing a couple times.. cj got new clubs.. so he was in heaven...

he had to go to the driving range asap to test them out... he likes!!

Saturday was Samantha's birthday!!! we went to the beach earlier in the day... and the weather was dreamy!! that night we went out to a fancy dinner... delish!!! happy birthday sam!!

earlier in the week the kids went and saw Santa... they are the cutest.. just look at them!!

the kids had so much fun all week. all week i was trying to warm up to JOSI baby... she only likes boys really.. but i tried.. she did give me a couple kisses... i am determined to really bond with her over Christmas... here is who she would run to...

i loved playing with all of them.. but this lil babe brooklynn warms my heart.. look at her.. and her chubby cheeks.. i call her my marshmallow baby!! she loves cj too.. it is pretty dang cute.

anyways... it was great. my mom had surgery on saturday... so i stayed home till tuesday to help her!! i hate seeing parents in pain, it hurts my heart... but she is a trooper. i got her hooked on the show friday night lights!! haha i tried vampire diaries.. but she is on drugs.. and i think it was a little to jumpy on the drugs for her!! haha next time!! i am glad i am unemployed.. so i can take care of her!!

i enjoy being close to family!! i do miss our family in UTAH!! next holiday... CHRISTMAS!! so excited!!

our saturday bike ride

this was our first weekend "home". we started off with what we do best.... tennis. after, we walked around fashion island.. then went to the beach for a bike ride.

it was great. my beach cruiser... finally made it to the beach. it have been in utah this whole time.. and it was so fun!! i think we will make that a regular thing. that night we met up with toni and aaron for some pizza and pizzookies from BJ's. it was a happy weekend!

it is never too late to set up your christmas tree!!

today was that day for me. CJ said it was ok.. i told him it is only a week from thanksgiving... what is one extra week going to do???

HE SAID YES.

today... along with looking for jobs.. making cookies.. and bringing cj lunch... i put up the tree!

tis the season!

besides that... cj and i play tennis almost every night here... there are tennis courts here, for free, so we get our game on!! I bring cj lunch every day.. and we sit outside together at the picnic table.. pretty cute wife of me i feel. haha

i have an interview on Friday at nordstrom... so we shall see.. all the grown up jobs... no one likes me... so i am taking a step down and looking elsewhere... a.k.a. NORDSTROM! wish me luck!

on Sunday we went to Toni and Aaron's to make some dinner and play Mario Kart. we made little pizza's and salad.

this is so funny... i hear bailey yelling my name in the store, so i came, and she was like take a picture of me with my friends.. haha. kinda creepy... he friends don't have heads.

Utah is missed... the snow part isn't... i cant lie.. i have been to the pool a couple times during the week.. but we do miss our friends and family.

this is our new adventure.

we were so sad to say good bye to our place #207. we LOVED living there... and driving home to this every night.

Cj and i packed up everything. thanks to our dear friend Jeff... he was the only reason we could get it all packed into our truck. he was a tetris champ!

that night we went to dinner with some of our friends.. to say good bye.

this whole truck was packed... to the tip top. i am amazed it all fit. i thought we should have got the bigger truck... but they guy from budget said it would fit... only one thing broke. that is a miracle.

here is the front room... i will take pictures of the place when it is all done up. haha... that is right people... it still isn't all unpacked. I think we went over kill on packing and moving so fast... we are on a little bit of a strike.

here is the moving crew... thanks for helping. Mercedes and Aaron... they were also a LIFE SAVER... they helped so much. (our friends that live in Newport... with there cute lil babe vera)

this is our walk in closet... haha! cj and i are used to having our own closet... so when we moved here... we were nervous on how it would all fit... snug as a bug!! we share now!! I put a bag of Christmas pine cones in there... it is like walking into a Christmas wonderland in our closet!! i suggest you all do it. SMELLS AMAZING.

this is our new place... #250. home sweet home... for who knows how long.

after we unloaded everything we went to my sisters house in Huntington beach.. because it was AARON's BIRTHDAY!!! (thanks for moving us on your b-day... ) Toni, my sister, got him a new BBQ... him and cj put that bad boy together for the delish bbq we had that night!!

that Monday was Halloween... and i surprised bailey that i was snow white... it took her breath away. she had to adjust a little bit when she saw me.. because i really think she thought i was the real deal.. she said it was the "best day ever!!" we danced around and had a princess party!! she was all hyped up on candy!

i was the big freaky princess.... that is also what bailey said to me. haha

Toni felt a little left out.. so bailey got her a princess outfit... so she could dance with us.

this is our new spot. we live like 5 minutes from the beach.. and on Sunday.. cj and i went for a walk and then had dinner at toni and aaron's house. we do that often these days. i also hang out with toni a lot... because we are addicted to watching this show called vampire diaries... i suggest you watch... it is a life changer!

anyways.. just a little update. i look for jobs.. bring cj lunch everyday.. and wait for him to get home!! i need hobbies.. haha!!

this year cj and i decided we are not going to get anything for halloween.. it takes too much effort....we were packing up... every year i get stressed about it.. basically not our favorite holiday.

on friday night, we were driving around and i said lets just go look at costumes... twenty minutes later... BOOM... we were dressing up. we had a party to attend. (pictures coming soon)

since we told everyone we were not dressing up... we thought it would be funny if i came as a big PRINCESS... all done up!

i was living my childhood dream of being a princess.

cj... agreed to wear where's waldo... it was fitting. he was picking between this and michael jackson... he said since he was old and married he would be waldo.. if he were still single.. he would have been MJ.

not too sure if that is a good thing.. haha but he was cute!! we were troopers...

CALIFORNIA WEEKEND!!

Friday at about 7:45 am i bought tickets to fly to ca with cj!! totally last minute and totally worth it!! plus, i got my flight for $89 each way... steal of a deal.

cj had an interview in ca on Monday ( so he flew down for free and got a free rental car too!! ) we are now waiting to hear back.. nervous. if he gets it, they want him there working on November 1st!! that is in THREE WEEKS!!! so our lives could be in ca...

ANYWAYS...

ca was great! we flew in on sat. went and got some food, hung out with my sister and Aaron, then headed to vista to hang out with the good old fam bam. we went to the beach, ate my moms famous lasagna, saw my bff Brittany, played with the lil babes, and to end the trip went to Disneyland with the girls... while the other boys golfed.. and cj had his interview!! here are some moments i captured:

first of all.. how freaking cute is brooklynn... she is a lil chunk and so happy!! she doesn't really know how to laugh yet.. so she makes these noises.. so funny!!

on Monday... KACI'S BIRTHDAY!!!! we went to Disneyland and California adventure. I haven't been to Disneyland since i was in 7th grade... in band... performing. hahah!!

we went on tower of terror twice.. so fun. i loved it!! Toni... last year took lil bailey on this ride.. i was laughing even harder imagining little bailey freaked out on this ride... because i was.. hahaha priceless... she is scared when she hears the word tower of terror now.

disneyland was packed.. so we stopped and at corn dogs and funnel cakes... right before we had churros... lets just say we lived it up to the max here.. ate our fried hearts out!!

This weekend was conference. I love conference. Last conference we decided to start a tradition with the fish's.. Click here to see their blog!! Sleep over conference weekend!!! They came over to watch. Then we hit up dinner. The boys go to priesthood while Brit and I go to the mall...GREAT TRADITION!

After priesthood the boys met us at the mall and we went and saw this movie called the warrior... I get really into movies... and I cried my eyes out!! You should go see it. I didn’t even know what this movie was about before hand... but I loved it!!

Then on Sunday we had a feast for breakfast!

we are the cutest little wives! slaving in the kitchen!! we made spinach and feta cheese omelets with bacon and sausage..... AND cinnamon rolls!! haha

the boys were waiting patiently.. playing games on the ipads! we were pretty full after the meal... clean plate club!! now we wait until the next conference.. and have another sleepover conference weekend!!

WE MADE IT!!! before we got here we bought the 7 day new york pass... and it saved us like $600 bucks on everything we went and saw... i suggest you get one when you go to nyc. so we stayed in a great place called aka. it was off 44th street right in times square. it had a kitchen (so i got dc in the fridge asap) a washer and dryer... saved our life.. we had a lot of dirty clothes and needed a cleaning to make it through our last week of the trip!

cj was pretty pumped about our place.. look at the pose!!

i loved it!! it also had like a reading room... but it was so close to everything!!

first day in this HUGE city.

we went to this bakery... everyone told us we had to go here... so we did!! then we ate the cupcakes at the top of the rock..

i loved going on top of the rock!! you could see everything!! (i liked it more than the empire state building)

after that, we went on a 2 hour boat cruise around the big city!! it was fun to see everything and we went right during sun set, so it was really pretty!!

see.. i dont know how to use my camera.. but it turned out pretty cool.. but still.. i need to take a class because i want to take good pictures.

the next day we went to SOHO... SHOPPING!! i loved it.. we shopped till we dropped. we went to little italy to get some good pizza and we ate it on the side of the road. we love pizza.. i think we got it at least 10 times this trip.

that day we also went and saw the new york temple. it was right in the middle of this busy city. i loved it. we also went to church here.. that is on the third floor.

that night we stopped by TKTS... we went here frequently... and got tickets to see this new cirque du soleil show called ZARKANA... i LOVED it!! i know my dad would love it.. i have seen a lot of these shows before... creepy a little, but cool!!

it was at radio city.. the stage was beautiful.

next day: we went to statue of liberty and ellis island.

after we went on a bike ride over Manhattan bridge and brooklyn bridge.. i loved this day.. because we love riding bikes.

we went to this place called Grimaldi's pizza... BEST pizza of the trip! it was a lot of pizza...

we love pizza.

cj did work.. i gave up after 3 pieces... cj had five.. clean plate club members!!

we then biked over the brooklyn bridge.

then we stopped at wall street... captured a pic.

then, to the 9/11 memorial. i got choked up here.. it was really pretty.

i love fire fighters... we then went to a little museum right next to a fire station... this is where i had tears rolling

stopped by the public library... also the place where carrie, from sex and the city, was going to get married. i love how i associate things we saw to movies.. i did it a lot. that night we just walked around... and went to bed early.. we were pretty tired.

the next day was museum day.. saw some pretty awesome paintings and artifacts.

this is also the day i became famous!

that is right.. i am on the big screen in times square.. it is all because I LOVE my DIET COKE!!

we walked around 5th ave. fancy stores... i took this pic and people thought we just got engaged!

we had to go here.. the movie big... yup, i was the big kid on this.. as you can see to the left.. the little kids were a hit.

that night we went and saw my 2nd favorite show.. billy elliot!! LOVE LOVE LOVE.. my mom would also love it.. a lot of dancing!

that night we ate a dinner to die for at this place called Tony's.. amazing!!

the following day we went on a wall street tour.. it was very interesting to learn about.. and cj just ate it all up.. someday he wants to work here he says...

then we strolled through the park

and found the most amazing doughnut place.. we got tons of doughnuts.. this is the one food place we came back for right before we left.

that night i was so excited for.. we went to see WICKED!!

we were 13th row.. we were so close.. the music was amazing... best show!!

I LOVED IT!!!

nuts 4 nuts... cashews were the best... i wanted these because on my show... the kardashians.. they eat them all the time.. haha

next day: bike around central park.. see some museums... went to a wax museum because we could with our pass.. so we were like.. why not.. it was fun... and we saw a show that night.

then we hung out did whatever during the day.. and saw marry poppins that night!! it was a great day!!

last night in our new favorite city!

our flight left at 7pm.. so we walked around greenwich village.. ate pizza.. and went back to the doughnut place.. they had the coolest bathroom

and we got $22 bucks worth of doughnuts... who freaking does that.. but we did haha.. such beasts!! we got to the airport... and we left.. it was the best trip ever!!! 2 1/2 weeks of pure busy bliss!!! enjoy readers... happy day!!

BOSTON

after our road trip we came back to Boston for one last day. we ate some delish food, did the freedom trail and other things.. i cant think at the moment, but i liked boston!!

this trail went all throughout the city of boston. it lead you to places in history where things happened. (once again... proud to be an american moments)

so we followed around this brick road... and it brought us to cool things like.. paul revere's house and..

this place... which is the state house

here we are at the old south meeting house.. i think... i cant remember from some pictures.. i am the worst. i need to ask cj.. he will know.

we made it to the U.S.S. Constitution... the oldest ship!

this is the oldest floating war ship in america... used in the battle of 1812.

this is the bridge view we saw when we walked over to get on the metro.. but actually is is called the "T" in boston... metro is a term used by new york... some kid told us that.

cj burnt his lil fingers when he was at the sauna the night before.. he had a rough night sleeping, so when we woke up we went to get him some things at the drug store. check out his new fingers!!

we went to harvard campus and drove around town.

we took some pictures... there was this huge church building in the background.. that is what we were aiming for anyways.. hahah you can see the parking lot and the front doors.

we also went to to harvard business college campus too... cj wants to maybe go there some day. i liked boston because it was the more relaxing part of our trip...we walked around little italy, ate, and hung out! we were preparing for our next chapter... NEW YORK CITY!!!

The road trip.

ok, so I lied. I am on a blogging kick... so I kept on posting our next chapter of the trip. KEEP READING... only if you want to.

we left really early.. i think 6 am... and it was pouring rain... kinda scary.. but it finally cleared up!!

we went to cooperstown to see the baseball hall of fame... took like 3 hrs to get there... got some breakfast because we got there before nine... when the place opens. so we at at his sweet hole in the wall diner.. it was funny!! finally we are ready to go see...1st day in history the place is closed due to flooding. below is a pic of a lot homes... we drove through...really sad.

what is even more sad (not really, but sad) there was a couple that flew in the night before from Texas, and drove 3 hours to get to the baseball hall of fame... the place was closed. it gets worse, so it was the cute mans 65th birthday present to come here... the wife made him a shirt with 65 on the back and his name Barry. they had one day to see this place.. they get here, and it is closed. they said to us.. "you are lucky you are young... you can actually come back", how sad is that???? all the way from Texas, they come to see this for his 65th, and the place is closed. this place is in the middle of nowhere.

so we kept our chins up.. and we continued our road trip to Niagara Falls.. the drive was beautiful. very LUSH!! we also got a speeding ticket... that sucked... and the cop was not nice.. you could tell he hated life.. haha

FINALLY... we made it. we stayed on the Canadian side of the falls for the night.

SO MUCH WATER!!!!! SO PRETTY!

we took a boat ride... got really wet!

for dinner we went to this cute lil town called Niagara on the Lake. we saw a pretty sunset on the lake; it looks like the ocean because you just see never ending water, but it was lake Ontario. it was really pretty.

when we got back the falls were lit up.. it was hard to take a picture because I am not camera savvy. this trip inspired me to look into a camera class... on how to take and use a camera.. because I could have captured some great moments if I knew how.. haha

the next day we went to palmyra. one of my favorite things we did this whole trip.

joseph smiths house (well their 2nd house). went inside... it was amazing.

then we went into the sacred grove. AMAZING!!

next we went to the Grandin printing press building. Where the book of mormon was first published. 5000 copies. if you owned a original copy today.. the worth is $100,000, crazy. the only reason they were printed because.. see pics below.

It was cool to go through the building and see how they made the book of mormon...i got the chills.

after, we went to the hit of the town... (which was funny... because it was so small.. and everyone was talking about it) it was a small lil place called chill & grill... this was their kids cone.

we downed those down... well almost.. we ate a ton of pizza right before this.. so we couldn't be apart of the clean plate club. (if you clean everything off your plate when you are eating... we usually are regulars in this club.. but we both threw in the towel.. ahah)

it was so pretty here.. so green!

here i am on Hill Cumorah. next we went to The Whitmer Farm House... this is where our church was organized... i loved learning about it.. we met awesome missionaries here and they told us cool stories.

we got there when it was closed... but the sister missionary was nice enough to talk to us and take a pic for us.

that night we stayed in syracuse, ny. there was an irish festival going on, so we went and ate corned beef, listened to some irish jams, and had great people watching!! very entertaining.

next day... we went back to the Cooperstown.

2nd time is the charm. IT WAS OPEN!! cj was totally pumped... just look at him!

ok so one of my favorite movies is league of their own... the original peach uniform. then there is me again... representing my team, the pads!!

it was a sporty road trip back to boston. i am not going to lie... they could totally ramp this place up... the baseball hall of fame was way cooler.

Washington DC... in a nutshell!

SUNDAY: cj and i were going to start our adventure. DC= a lot of walking. i am a "rookie traveler" cj said, because i cared more about outfits and looking cute. let me tell you.. i purchased some runners... almost a fanny pack. comfort is more important. my poor feet were broken in dc... but i did look really cute!!

first stop: mr. presidents house.

now, in the back. this day was very HUMID. cj and i would just start laughing at each other because we both were just sweating it out.

ok, so by this time my feet were broken. when we came across this, i couldnt resist, shoes off and feet in. this also was a WWII memorial, so i did feel a little weird putting my feet in, but there were kids just getting in, so i didnt feel too bad. next stop, mr. lincoln's memorial

the building was huge! i kept saying to myself, dc is heavy, because everything was made from marble... like really heavy building. haha (i know, i am weird)

we were just totally pumped to sit down.

one thing that was a bummer, the reflection pool was under construction, so instead, we had a big dirt pile view.

after this, we went to the old estate of general lee's...a.k.a. the Arlington's cemetery.

it was crazy how big this place was.

this is the tomb of the unknown soldiers. a place where all the unidentified remains of soldiers are kept. there is a guard 24 hrs of the day on guard. it was pretty cool to see.

we walked around for a while in here looking at all the graves. it really made us proud to be american.

iwo jima memorial statue. this was the last stop of the day... and it doesn't look like a lot but... IT WAS MILES of walking!! haha. we then caught the metro to mike and sara's house for dinner!! sara made some bomb pizza. i didn't take a picture of that.

MONDAY: the next day, mike and sara met us for breakfast. we went and ate at the founding farmers. it was DELISH (also didn't take a pic). we were going to hit up mike and sara's new hood with them. they have only been here for 3 weeks, so they haven't seen everything yet, so we all went and explored together..

we went to the holocaust museum. i love learning about this time period. usually you have to pay to get in, but since it was a slower season, we got in for free!

next, we went to the thomas jefferson memorial. once again, heavy building.

the view from there was cool. it over looked the lake and you could see the big city.

Next, we went to the F.D.R. Memorial.. Where we took the most amazing pics. By this time.. cj and mike were over taking pics... but Sara and I held strong, in doing so, we got the best moments. this one for example... Sara is straddling the doggy. Classic.

Next picture even gets better…. We wanted to get in line and act like the statue. Mike and I were confused.. we didn’t know to look straight ahead or at the camera… just enlarge this pic, it is freaking funny, we couldn’t stop laughing after we took it.

After F.D.R, we went to the new Martin Luther King memorial. This was packed with people because I am pretty sure they dedicated it that day. There was this quote… and then he was cut out of the rock.

Next= more walking…. I wore my toms this day.. better than my gold sperry shoes, but it rained that day.. so my feet were wet and hurting.. haha. CJ would just say.. told you so… but I had to get cute for pictures. So we then went National Gallery… saw some painting.

yeah... we ate a lot.

We were hungry after this… we went to Georgetown.. the cutest little town with shopping, Georgetown cupcakes, and we got some burger (didn’t capture a pic here.. we just got our food and ate, little conversation, we were starving). That was the end of that day. We said bye bye.

TUESDAY: we went to the capitol building, the library of congress, supreme court, air and space museum, newseum (this was a new one, and I loved it), natural history, national archives, National museum of American history, and the portrait gallery. We walked it out.

here we are at the huge (heavy) Capitol building. it was raining and windy this day... that was nice.. we didn’t have to worry about sweating it up.

we were standing in the middle of the capitol building. we went on a tour and wore our head sets. there is just so much to say but not enough time to type it all.. i loved it.

each state had two people that represented their state. Utah... Brigham Young...represent.

the famous spiral stair case in the building.. it goes on forever.

the height of the flight attendants.. once again I am too tall. (remember when I got rejected from an interview earlier this year because I was an inch too tall)

I made CJ take a lot of pics where he had to pose.. this is a great example. he was a good sport for entertaining me.

This next museum was my favorite, it was the new newseum, history of news.

It had tons of newspapers of major events in history that happened.

History of how news evolved. A place where you could act like a news reporter and they recorded it… so embarrassing, but fun, I did weather and cj did a sports game.

the famous door of the watergate scandal. pretty sweet. it just had a lot of cool things, i recommend it to anyone that is going to DC... worth it.

they had this whole section for 9/11 and it had part of the building with all the news on the wall. i always get tears when i read or see anything about 9/11. loved.

they also had funny shirts...like this shirt.

we went and saw the original flag that inspired the star spangle banner song.

saw some cool things... this is at the natural museum of american history.

this is at the national portrait art gallery. a lot of weird art... I liked this one. in here was also a picture of joseph smith... that was the one we were looking for.. it was a hunt!

the next day we slept in... we were pretty tired... and we flew to BOSTON... that is DC in a nutshell. More posts to come... but I will let you all soak this one in... it is a long one, sorry, there was just so much to see!!

Day one.

i wanted to fill you guys in on the first part of our trip!!

we flew into baltimore and slept the night there. CJ's high school friend JOE picked us up bright and early the next morning and we went to Annapolis, MD. We took a boat ride around the cute little city. Ate some fudge.. went to the state house and walked around!

i guess his house used to be white, and all the boys said it was way prettier before, i wouldnt have known..but a guy made a new discovery from some writings that george used sand stone... so they just redid the outside of his house... pretty cool though, i loved it! this place was HUGE, so much land, and it was so LUSH and pretty!! we saw real cows at one point... and pigs... and cj feeding the sheep.

that night i met up with mike and sara!! they just moved out here three weeks ago. the boys (cj, joe, tyler) stayed and watched the BYU football game, while i went and walked the streets of alexandria with mike and sara. cute lil place!

we took a trolly ride together!! i think i was always sweating in DC it was very humid and hot. we went to their cute lil house on sunday for dinner, sara made bomb pizza, and i was sitting by the ac because i was too hot! i even had to excuse myself at the dinner table so i could go stand in front of it!! ha

anyways, that was just the first day we were on our trip. i will have more posts to come. i just wanted to get them started. i have to go now and meet cj at the TKTX place to go see a show tonight. it was raining really hard, so we came back to our place to rest it up!! i love this trip so much!

2 1/2 week vacation here we come!!

we leave Friday.

Saturday we are meeting up with our friend Joe, and going to drive to Philadelphia!

the city of love.

we will then spend the night there and hang out there Sunday.

drive back to DC.

we will have three days in this big city.

my friends sara and mike just moved out there, so we can see their new hood. look at their blog here... they are the bomb!!

cj and i will play during the day.. and then meet up with them after work(they are so grown up). next stop, BOSTON.

we are going to fly in here... rent a car to go see these places.

Niagara falls and....

the sacred grove. then we will drive back and play in Boston for two days, got do the freedom trail and fenway park (CJ LOVES THE RED SOX).

Last night I had to work. (all week more like it) and I was in charge of this party. There were carnival games, a band, people on stilts, and caricature artists. Cj, being the best husband came and brought me food, since I was there till about 10:30pm. We ate, got our family photo, and then he left. I am glad he came to visit because this week I have been losing my mind.

Lets back track a little, so when cj was on his way to bring me food, bless his heart, he had a 44oz diet coke in the car. Just as he was answering my phone to meet me, the drink spilt into the dash board… and now the raido doesn’t work and the car makes this clicking noise. Haha. The car is officially broken. Cj was trying so hard to bring me a dc.. and the car drank it instead.

this is a solo shot i did... when i was just roaming the party all by myself. i am so glad cj came and played with me. it makes working so much better. well i am off to work now.. i will be there till 1am.. so yeah.. that is my life..

we had a fiesta saturday!

On Saturday, I had to work... on the bright side of it all; I got of earlier than I thought. So cj and I went and picked up my friend richelle, who lost her car keys, and we all went to trolley square and walked around for a bit.

After we dropped her off, we went home hung out, the usual. Then it was date night. I was feeling like a fashionista.. I got all ready.. It is always fun to dress up in a different style for a night; it is like you are a different person. That is right people; I put on the lipstick and rocked it all night. HA!!! so trendy...

We rode our bikes to the top of the avenues… perfect timing; I mean look at the sun setting behind Capitol Hill. The best is once we get to the top, it is all down hill from there… and we just coast to the bottom.

After that, we went to a new place, called hapa taco’s, we got some guacamole, chips, and tacos… it was yum!! Plus, we used one of our livingsocial coupons; I always love a good deal.

Just when you think this night is over… you are wrong, it only just begun. We were riding down town, and we came across some carnival… so we went. The carnival was called FIESTA DE PUEBLO… there were rides (like seven of them), games (five of those bad boys), and a sweet band playing… not in English!! It was a fiesta! Haha, the flyer they gave us was in Spanish.. it was funny.

We went on this ride behind me…. It goes in circles, upside down… cj almost lost his glasses, but he couldn’t reach his head with his hand, because it was REALLY TIGHT.. We were locked in. pretty rough.

Then we decided to go on the ferris wheel… this is when my cj broke into sweat. He was concentrating so hard not to vomit. These pictures look like we were having a blast (I mean, we were, but cj was on the verge of vomit). It was another tight fit on this ride, our legs were touching… and when we finally waved the guy down to get us off, my leg was wet with cj’s sweat. His wrists were sweating… the poor kid.. doesn’t do well with rides. I was laughing so hard, I couldn’t help it, and he was such a trooper.

after that we did some great people watching. i could do that all day. went home from the fiesta and called it a good night!! i love date night with the cj!

today i had work at 8am... pretty rough. we have a big convention all week to decorate for... so i will be working for two weeks straight. our trip is coming people.. the EAST COAST!! i am so excited to go on a vacation with my cj, just the two of us!! 2 1/2 weeks long!!

we bought a swing!!

so the other day when we were locked out of the house... ya, that day, i bought us a swing. the one positive thing that happened because of the lock out. check it out.. cj build it today after work.. we ate dinner on it... and then read our books on it.. and love our new addition to our porch!!

Friday, we went to work, the usual, and after work met up with my dear friend becky and her boy JR for some pizza and a movie. we went and saw the help, loved it! the book is always better, but the movie was great! caught the credits of an outdoor movie up on "naughty" capitol hill. GREAT PEOPLE WATCHING!

Saturday... BECKY's birthday!! the big 24!

the day was going great, we went to the farmers market in the morning, came home got ready to do our thing. cj was going to go golfing while i went to the pool. we walk out the door with all of our things... then it hit us, NO KEYS!! we are locked out of our house and the car keys are inside. don't worry this isn't the first time we have done this... and you think we would have learned our lesson last time and got a key. nope, we are pretty special!

last time the key guy came in an opened our door by putting a wide under the door and reaching around and pulling the handle open. it looked easy, took like 20 minutes. cj and i were like done, and done, we are doing that.

basically three hours of being locked out. we finally got a spare key and got inside the house.

it messed up our plans and day BIG time. (we missed cj's buddy from high school, danny's, wedding reception... dont worry card is already in the mail...so sorry!!)

that brings us to finally coming to the pool.. and hanging out with friends for becca's party.

us girls... camie is like a different race she is so tan!!

the birthday group. so this year Becca said it was her year.. and she was feeling lucky and wanted to go to wendover. (basically it is the most white trash place that you can gamble... and it is an 1 1/2 hours away)

everyone came over to our place... we played a little Mario kart. blah, blah, blah... we don't leave until 1am. we had to wait for everyone to get here. (i was so tired at this point, i never stay up late anymore since i am married)

off we go...

this picture is at like 3am... outside of the rainbow casino... we all hit up McDonald's.. because it was the only fuel that could keep us going at that point.

stay classy my friends, stay classy. cj gave my $50 bucks... it was gone in like 5 minutes.. i was then determined to make it all back.. and some. our group goal was $2000... haha.. i think we were so tired.. we were going crazy!! haha

basically... lets just say.. i am not bad at the black jack. yes, i paid my man back.. and i walked with almost $200. when we finally left this place... we walked outside and the sun was shining... that was my moment of shame.. who does that?? haha. it was really fun, really random, and a great way to stay classy!! haha

this is what cj and i walked away with... and i look so tired, beat, and like i am crazy.. because i really was!

toni and aaron showed up like 3 hours later... cj and i took a quick lil nap... woke up feeling like we got hit by a truck!! haha. we said we are not young and single anymore.. and we couldnt do that anymore..

we went and ate some pizza at my favorite place settabello's.. .it was bomb. played some wii... and by that point i couldn't keep my eyes open.. had to take another nap. (sorry about that T & A... bad hosts... i will never go gambling the day before you come again!! haha)

made some corn dogs for dinner... and made mini pizza cookies... they were a TREAT!! i bought these cute little pans.. and they were perfect.. and i think they were better than the ones you get at restaurant's.

we are just so fun!! i love visitors!! they left this morning... i went to work... and i almost lost my mind... if you know me, i am sure you have heard me tell you about it!! haha

today was tera's birthday... she also was up here this weekend.. so we went and got some sushi and a waffle.. the usual.. every visitor we have... we find that excuse to get a waffle.. and lets just say we convert them.. and they always come back!! happy birthday sister!!

we were pretty busy.. and now we are pretty beat. totally worth it all!!

two more weeks of work.. and we are off to our east coast trip.. and i am SO EXCITED!!!

i love my life. i love being a wife!

four strikes and a hike.

so yesterday after work, cj and i wanted to go play some tennis, the usual routine. we went to one place, no open courts. went to another, and another, and another.. finally after 4 tries... we were done.

we then decided we were going to go on a hike...

it turned out to be perfect.. we hiked to the top of ensign peak just in time for a pretty sunset!

it turned out to be a great day!!

as of late.. i got back from a very long and hot week in AZ for work... lets just say... i was SO EXCITED TO COME HOME!! that pretty much sums up my week. IN ALL CAPS!!

umm.. what else.. my sisters/bro in law aaron are going to be up in my hood of the SLC this weekend. i just love visitors.

can you believe it is almost SEPTEMBER?? where did my summer go... i dont like to think about it.. but the cold is coming.. that is upsetting!! (so lets just not think about it)

we got married.

it is crazy to think how fast things fly by. i loved every single day of it.. and i am so excited for more to come!!

our heads are chopped off...but i kinda like it.

truth be told... i want to retake some pictures in our get ups!! i never was super happy with my wedding pictures, and i want at least ONE picture of cj and i ... we dont have one where we are not kissing (and who wants to see that... no one!! haha jk)

ANYWAYS....i love my life.

cj and i went up to midway on friday, left work a little early, and had a great little getaway. we played mini golf, tennis, pool, went and ate some meals...

loved it. one night my dearest friends brit fish and brady fish came and played with us... little game of putt putt... brit was the champ!!

dont worry... i always forget my camera during the most crucial points of my life (like our 1 year anniversary) so all these pictures are from the phone... not best of quality, but i needed to capture some moments.

we also went golfing... it was so pretty and nice... but there were TONS of flies. kinda killed the beauty of it all for us.. it was rough. i killed like 20 flies... yuck!!

it was the best anniversary weekend anyone could ask for!!

today, i had the day off... so it was great! cj had work.. that part was sad, but i cleaned the house and got a lot done.

i have one week here... then i am headed our to AZ... for a whole week... all alone... bore fest!!

my motivation is our trip to the east coast... i am counting down the days.

we have been back for two weeks now, and it has been non stop. i feel i have been consumed in work. last weekend was a big event called national governor's association.. where all 50 governors came to utah... and we decorated 4 parties in two days...

LONGEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!!

friday i worked from 7am-8pm

saturday 8am- midnight

this whole week i have been catching up on sleep.

anyways... we went and saw harry potter at the IMAX... i love harry potter... i am really sad they are over.

went and played some tennis... the usual.

i got cj his first pair of vans... he is so excited about it. (i think i am more than he is.. haha)

today is the jump start to our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!

we rode our bikes, and went to eat at fleming's, a really nice steak house.

cj ordered a lot... appetizer, salads, 2 sides- baby carrots and yummy potatoes, AND we each ordered a steak (i order man meals now days)... just when you thought our meal was over... they brought us free dessert for our anniversary... CHOCOLATE CAKE...

it totally reminded me of the cake from the movie Matilda. where the fat kid has to eat it all... we tried.. and couldn't finish

after dinner, we went to a free concert in the park... there was the BEST people watching there. i could hang out and watch people all day. we came across this sweet alien dj. pretty sweet.

i wonder how long it took this guy to make this thing??

our real anniversary is on sunday... tomorrow we are leaving work early and going to stay at zermatt resort midway... i am so excited!! a little get a way! look here

i love my life. i am so happy i married cj... all we do is hang out and play all day everyday

i miss it already.

oh how i love vacations!!

so, two weeks ago when my parents were here... we started off our wonderful vacation with a nice RODEO up in Oakley.

ok, so i don't think i have been to a rodeo before... it stressed me out. at one point, i screamed bloody murder because i was so scared for the people on the bare back horses.. and the bulls. cj was embarrassed... he said i didn't blend in very well... he claims to be a real cowboy!

IT WAS NUTS!!

that night we slept up at the Marriott with the parents... and cj and i woke up at 4:00 AM laughing... because my loving parents snore with their whole heart.. and we were trying to make a plan and sleep in the hallway, bathtub, by the pool... we were desperate.. cj couldn't stop laughing.. it was great! i love you mom and dad!!

Friday, the boys went golfing... my momma and i went to the pool and headed down to our place to help us pack and clean... much needed!!

off we went... road tripping with mom and pops back to CA.

my dad always stops at the gas station in beaver to get an icecream cone.. keeping tradition.

we stopped in vegas, to break up the drive, and ate at the mirage buffet. my dad said he enjoyed watching cj and i eat, i guess it is because we are good eaters! haha!! we stayed at the TRUMP hotel... cj asked the lady at the front desk for a room that had a wall between us and the parents.. so we could sleep peacefully... cj and i did.. but i don't think mom and pops did.. sorry about that. i guess the upgrade wasn't as sweet as we thought it would be. woke up, went for a swim and went for the final stretch of the drive. with a lil detour, we met up with grandma and grandpa (they are the cutest) I LOVED seeing them!

Saturday... we played some tennis when we got home with my lil brother ty ty... i had to show him i stepped up my game... i gave him a run for his money!

Sunday... we went to church... hung out, ate dinner, and decided to have a family activity of tennis.. so we went and played... came home dripping in sweat!

MONDAY, MONDAY.... every year since i can remember (except for when sam and kyle got married.. haha, i forgive you for that) we go to the beach.... and we go EARLY. this year we went to Carlsbad beach.. we prepared for the worst. meaning.. it would be super crowded. woke up at 5:30 am... on the road by 6:00 am to go stake our territory... lets just say we were over prepared.. or people don't come to the beach anymore because we had our spot all day.. with TONS of space.

ty and cj made up this beach tennis game with our paddle ball set.. and we were hitting the balls so long and so hard... just look how sweaty they are... we play hard.

this was taken at the end of our day.. this is when bailey was loosing her mind. she was yelling at the sand.. and at one point i turned around and she was giving this girl sarah the worlds longest hug.. it was so funny!!

this is lil baby brooklynn... she is the CUTEST!! her cheeks are to die for... she is just chillin in her car seat.. she is a true beach babe.. hung out all day!!

oh, and that day was my birthday as well.. i turned the big 24... i am feeling pretty old!!

we came home and lit some left over wedding sparklers...

cj was totally pumped about it!!

Tuesday... woke up feeling fried like a lobster. CJ and I were RED!! his poor lil feet were fuchsia.. and my whole body.. i even put tons of sunscreen on too.. i guess we sweated it off... cj went golfing.. i went to the beach and pushed through the burn... that is what we call a dedicated beach bum... and i sure was.

that night we played volleyball at the church with our fam and some friends. my bff britt came over.. and i loved it!! i love her, it is always so fun coming home because it is like nothing has changed. our team won... enough said.. and cj and i are weird... and i like it!

we came home from volleyball to bailey peacefully sleeping on the couch next to papa.. it was so funny... look at her.. she was so tired.

one night we went to eat.. and we drink a lot of diet coke (cj drinks coke, he will some day give in) the server brought us all 2 mugs.. it was GLORIOUS!! that is what i am talking about... i love my DC. yes, we might have a lil addiction.. but hey, totally worth it!!

wed, we went up to Irvine and shopped our lil hearts out... thanks to aaron and his hook up!! THANKS AARON!

then we ate at the yard house... delish!

the rest of the week was filled with beach (everyday), tennis, running with my sisters, mom, and the babes, more volleyball at the church, just dance on the Wii (cj was the champ), eating, hanging out with the fam.. and LOVING EVERY SECOND OF IT!! i miss the beach in my life.

the past couple days have been so fun.

on saturday my parents came in... we played doubles, went to dinner at the pie, walked around the art festival, came home and watched a movie.

on sunday, we walked around temple square and up memory grove..

the parental units came to church and after church, i whipped up a home cooked meal.. and ate before they headed up to park city.

monday we went up, ate dinner (we eat a lot.. haha), and went to the hot tub...

same routine on tuesday.. but cj and pops went golfing while mom and i went to the pool... I LOVE VISITORS!!

but lets back it up... on friday my friend amberlina and jesse flew in from texas, and came over!! i loved it. we played just dance... jesse gave amber a run for her money... i do have an awesome clip of them dancing.. but i am pretty sure amber would kill me if i put it up.

tonight a couple of "old roommates" went out to dinner... i didnt get a pic, i suck!! but amber did come over after dinner... so we didnt pee our pants... and we captured some moments.

she also gave me some treats for my birthday... i love!!

Friday... i was off to a rocky start! haha

no one was at work... i mean no one... and it was just so nice outside.. long story short,

i left work early and went to a pool. i needed it!

cj was golfing with friends from work, he didnt get home till like 7, so i took my time hanging by the pool!

we went to the red iguana... delish! the BEST mexican food and ended with a waffle. if you want a treat come up here to eat a waffle.. not going to lie, we had two this weekend.

SATURDAY... was packed with activities!

cj went golfing AGAIN.

i cleaned the house.... much needed.

rode our bikes to the farmers market. ate some food. GREAT people watching!

rode our bikes to play tennis... serious tennis... the last thing i said to cj was

"we need sunscreen"

not going to lie, we have improved our tennis game A LOT!

we had our tennis lesson last week.. and put the new technique to work.

not too shabby!

went to costco... once again... went shopping for a family of 8!

ate some pizza and a hot dog... came home emptied the groceries... hopped on our bikes and went down to the gateway to check out chalk walk... it was pretty sweet.

CJ TOOK HIS TEST!!!

we will find out in like a month how he did.. until then... LET THE SUMMER BEGIN.

right after the test, cj went and played nine holes... i hung out in the cart and got some sun.. it was great. stress free.... we loved it!!

it was such good weather... it gave me hope for the summer sun on my skin. i loved it.

look at that swing.. so good. i hit a couple.. i have a lot of work to do in this sport.

i was just by myself in the cart, messing with the camera. basically, entertaining myself!! haha

today was a long day... i FINALLY got the car registered, it passed emissions.

i FINALLY got the AC fixed. CJ has gone 2 years with no AC... i put my foot down and fixed that puppy.. so now i can drive around this town with out sweating!

today we also got our new tennis racquets... taking a tennis lesson this week...we are going to be so good.

i also found out that my parents are coming to visit us june 24th... they are staying up in PC.. so i will take some days off and go lay by the pool with my mother.. i am so excited!! i love it when visitors come up here!! come one come all! it is going to be a great time!!

i just got some much done today... now i am going to play some tennis with the cj... doing work!!!

you all know i love Friday's because.. it means the WEEKEND is HERE.

this Friday was a good one.

at work, we had an end of the world party...(since people thought the end of the world was coming on saturday)

bring your own junk food.. it is the last time you will eat it... that killed some fun quality time. loved it!

after work, cj and i went and ate at this place called the naked fish... IT WAS DELISH!!

we got a history lesson on each roll we ordered... sunny was our guy... and he rocked.

it was like the best sushi i have had in a long time.

ALSO THE BEST DIET COKE IN THE WORLD TOO.

it was dreamy. they would freeze the cup with ice at the bottom.. it changed my diet coke life. all restaurants should use this technique... AMAZING.

they only did it with the diet coke.. because cj got coke.. in just a regular glass...

they know us DC drinkers are high maintenance. i think i drank like 4 glasses... not a problem.

after dinner... we went and saw Bridesmaids.

sooo funny.

at one point i almost had to leave because i couldnt stop laughing.. cj had to calm me.

dont worry... today (saturday) i went with richelle and saw it again. it was way more funny the first time... but still, not too shabby the second time either.

i left cj at home.. so he could study HARD... and he did.

when we came home from the movie, we all went and played some tennis... we gave richelle her first tennis lesson... more to come. haha

there was a couple playing next to us, they were really good, and really nice. they let us try out their racquet's and gave us some tips.. (we now know that we are playing with the worst racquets... their racquets were the BOMB)

they even gave us their friends number that teaches tennis lessons... we will be pro in no time.

AFTER.. we then came home to some pork in the crock pot and ate some yummy home cooking.. haha!!

great weekend... hope yours is too!!

i am sad...
first of all.. my last post... of when cj and i went on our bike date.. is erased, i don't know how.. but it is gone.. and i am sad about it because people actually left comments...poof... GONE!!!

then i just get pulled over.. and i had no idea that i had a warrant out for my arrest. the guy was nice and let me go, but still... stupid... how do i know?
so i called they have been sending letters of warning to my address.. but they haven't been putting #207 on all the letters... so they have been sending them to no one.. how am i to take care of this, if i haven't received anything ????????????????

ANNOYED....
